Mohamed Lamine Mekhalfi
Mohamed Lamine Mekhalfi received the State Engineer degree in electronics (with specialization in telecommunications) from the University of Mentouri, Constantine, Algeria, in 2009, and the M.Sc. degree in electronics (with specialization in signal processing) from the University of Batna, Algeria, in 2012, under supervision of Prof. Redha Benzid.
From November 2012 through January 2016, He was engaged with the Signal Processing and Recognition (SPR) Laboratory headed by Prof. Farid Melgani at Dept. of Information Engineering and Computer Science (DISI), University of Trento, where He acquired a Ph.D. degree in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as part of the ICT international doctoral school.
As of August 2016, He has been a Postdoctoral researcher at PAVIS Dept. of IIT, under supervision of Prof. Vittorio Murino, where He conducts research mainly in crowd behavior analysis/modeling and person re-identification.
His research interests mainly encompass Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, Machine Learning, and Remote Sensing.
