I was born in Messina (Italy), in 1984 and received my MSc in Computer Science Engineering at the University of Catania in 2010. Now I’m a 3rd-year Ph.D. student in Computer Vision at the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Genoa (Italy). My research interests mainly focus on machine learning, computer vision and patter recognition techniques for biomedical applications. I’m currently involved in a project for the multimodal analysis of structural and functional connectivity of the brain at network scale. Other research interests include bayesian modeling, approximate inference and deep learning. To know more about my research activity, please visit my personal webpage at www.simonaullo.com.
